-
We fumed, deep
on green moss.
We looked ahead,
swallowing words
stuck like summer honey,
but it was beautiful,
strangely vibrant.
We were dying with
no symbolism.
We searched for autumn,
red and crisp.

- Pathetic fallacy is the idea that somehow the world mirrors our own situation, i.e. it rains because we are sad.

- I like the ambiance of this one. Dying with no symbolism is a tragic thing. I have no idea what 'pathetic fallacy' refers to, but you definitely caught a mood here.
