I spent my nights listenin' to you cry.
I spent my nights wishin' he would just die!
I spent my days wishin' we would leave.
I spent my days cryin' on your sleeve.
A mother like you be with a man like him.
You never knew what he did to us.
You never knew what a man he was.
You never knew what he could do.
If we left him with you.
You were not a true mother.
I mean, we are your son and daughter.
Aren't you meant to be there for us?
Or are we such a big enough fuss?
I wish I could understand.
Though you're band.
I try and try to overlook what you have done.
Though now it can never be undone.
I have lost everything in you.
You never thought what I said was true.
Go ahead and believe anything you want.
I bet he thought you were a stupid c**t.
You are my mother. You were my mother.
You have me wonder...
Explain what you thought when I was hurtin'.
Explain what you thought when I was cryin'.
Explain what you thought when I was beggin'.
What were you thinkin'?
I sit here now, almost six years later.
Not seein' you is maybe better.
I have plenty of time to think.
Since time went by like a blink.
You will always be my mother.
But, why bother?
