Rain

• Description: This is a poem I wrote about my friend who sometimes doesn't talk to me for awhile, but complains when I don't talk to them. When I'm away for a long period and come back, they go crazy. Then they go back to their routine of ignoring me.
  It's short, but I guess sometimes it doesn't matter.

The rain falls down, the tears fall down
I fear if there is silence too long I will drown.
In the distance I don't see, where is the key?
You won't say but a few words to me.

Tear stained cheeks, & rain stained windows,
I will hide silently in the shadows.
Rain will fall, but tears will diminish,
I don't know if we will ever finish.

To end it all,
What should I do?
All I've been doing is waiting for you.
I know, I know, I'll be patient
But what will you do when I'm gone?
