Making the stars

• Description: I thought of this poem when i saw a shot of the Aurora Borealis from space it looked like the earth was braking open and then came the poem! i know it had nothing to do wi X-mass but i really wanted to know what other people thought.

The earth is breaking open
And so is my heart

Shattering into a thousand tiny pieces
That scatter all across the universe

Never to return.

elaborate further on the subject, i feel like your poem doesn't do the point of interest justice. Its a good subject matter and the relation to love is certainly there and has strong emotion with it, so it could be good..but its just not good yet.
