    Amidst all of the chaos beyond every dream
    lies an underlying fear and an eerie kind of silence in what might have been
    beyond the cloak of doom is the shadow of what we use to be and what you meant to me
    the one I loved the one I hated
    comforter of my sarrow for us the water ran deep
    in your hand you held my heart in my mind you and you alone posessed my soul
    all of the bad memories and all of my nightmares erased when I was with you
    but the icy dagger of jealousy rose and struck to kill you the unseeing victim
    taken over so completely hatred coursed through your blood accusations were thrown wildly
    tears were shed promises were broken
    you left me alone and broken and took my heart with you
    I cried so hard begging you to come back
    but you didn't hear me or even look back
    the day you left was the day I died
    my spirit was broken and to torn beyond repair
