Closed doors empty mind
Just reminders of what I left behind
Broken hearts and torn thoughts
All matters of something lost
How could love just slip away
Through every unseen crack
How could the joy you always gave
Just leave but give nothing back
And now my wounds may never mend
I say goodbye to my former friend
My memories are never lost
But no point lies behind their cause
I would thank you for the time we spent
But to you it wouldn't be worth a cent
