I loved you like no other
I dreamed about you forever
You said it would never end
The beginning of dread
Would take an end

But slowly
It all changed
From love at first sight
To I hate you the next night
I wished it was a nightmare
I would wake and brush off

Leave behind and kiss off
But when you said those simple words
I knew I couldn't stand
I couldn't blink
I couldn't see
I couldn't feel
But the pain of being broken

Shattered and let go
Like a one hit song
I was numb for a while
Afraid to speak
Afraid that whatever we had
Was a limited week

And the life we once had
had been like no other
And now I sit here
A wallow forever
I don't know what to do
Get drunk and leave you

So what shall I do?
If I can't have you?
