You and I
Freed into the sky,
Sanctioned and Unioned
We collide
You and I,
Freed of our souls
Untouched; on hold
From those who wouldn't release us,
From the Hell below
You and I,
Freed are our minds
Unhindered - Unscathed,
Away from the aura's that creep
Energized beneath
You and I,
Freed of our eyes
Leaving the beauty that tries-
-to bring us back to earth,
So that we may disconnect
You and I,
Freed from our bodies,
With corpses buried
We leave this world;
Mourning adjourned
...and with happy thoughts,
We disperse

- Title: You and I, Free At Last
- Artist: Mecca Against Reality

Description:
I wrote this poem today, when the words were jumbled in my head. It is about two people (lovers, friends, family?) that have finally found each other, to only go through the hardship which almost separates them.

- Gorgeous. I love it. And it can be so true that after so long some things don't work out, or almost don't.
