As the days go by
I'm left wondering why
I'm not by your side,
When you shut your eyes
Or look to the skies
I want you to know I'm there,
I am the wind whispering in your ear
I am the one who catches you when you fall
I am the shadow on the wall,
And I want you to know
I love you for not only who you are
But who I am when I'm with you
