What would happen if I sighed
Letting go of tears I've cried
Raking up the havoc sowed
Letting go of all I know
What would happen if I bled
The cuts burning, sheets stained red
Turning on all of my past
They don't know how long I'll last
Try to clean up my mistake
But I've fallen, again I break
Let my soul begin its bleeding
All hope gone, again I'm weeping
What would happen if I sifted
Through your broken mind, then lifted
All your sorrows, new and old
Pain now frozen, lies untold
If I'd done all that and more
I would no more be so sore
I would no more suffer my pain
Sorrows lifted, no more shame
