Behind these eyes is a wish for something more.
A hope for an escape by a passage, a flight by this door.
Beneath this face is a bright, burning wish for a faraway place,
An exit from this frantic, this terrible race.
Beside this world is another, a better, fantastic land.
Though life there is hard people manage to believe, hand in hand.
I can see a place where one does not rule them all,
But each is known in every cave, every forest, every hall.
Next to this moment another is passing just like mine.
As this moment is spent, the division grows ever more fine.

- some people say that it needs to be longer that its to short. but what they realy should be looking at is the feeling i which they get from the poem as they read it. the expreion in which flows though it and all and all. this one has to be shortest but yet (and i know that i said that people shouldnt say that it is short etc.) it says so much in so little that of what you wrote.
