Physical things started from nothingness, a thing that cannot be examined or worked with in any way but the mind, if one could truly understand what that was, or should I say, was not?
We can have feelings about that ranging from extreme fear that stems from the idea that since that is where physical things, the entire universe, came from. Anything we can think of could have come from there, is there now waiting for us to discover it or to be discovered by it, or that to come could be anything physical that could be thought of by us and even things we have never thought of could be there.
But even the extreme angst that could produce in us is only a feeling and all such feelings are subjective and not real in the sense we need not feel them and not all of us will; some might even enjoy the physical nightmare that might be out there already, was in the past, a past capable of changing our future into a living nightmare.
However there could be something that was before in the past that is no longer, that is now and just waiting for us to discover it, or that will be in the future that is not negative in any way, and that will not be anything to produce even the slightest fear, either in the here and now or in the future. That thing may have even been in the past and is capable of affecting great safety and extremely pleasant feelings should we only discover it again. But again that is only subjective and we will not need to feel that way even if it is capable of producing such an idyllic environment wherein we feel safe and only pleasant feelings forever.
Hence the concepts of heaven and hell persist, things born in our emotions that are only subjective but affect at least some of what we think.
What do we do with that? Do we just pay attention to what we think? Do we pay attention only to what we feel and dwell in the subjective part of what we may experience?
Will it be a mistake to just pay attention to what we think and explore what can be thought? Will it be a mistake to just pay attention to what we feel and reject what is merely thought? Either of them are capable of causing us to know things we would have been better off not knowing, or feel things we would have been better off not feeling? We have all done things we regret even the greatest thinkers that ever lived. Remorse is only subjective and can be rejected for its lack of logic. But if we think something that causes us remorse each time we think of it-? What then?
We have all felt things that we didn't need to and when someone explained what caused it to us we saw it in a new light and we felt something else entirely? But that can be negative or positive also. We could love someone and have it all explained away by reason. Would we have been better off not to have ever considered it in a more reasonable light? Intellectual love doesn't always produce a corresponding subjective feeling of love. And subjective love does not, some say it even rarely does, produce productive intellectual activities or make sense at all positively or negatively.
Do we then only think things that produce positive feelings and reject all things that do not? Do we recognize only positive feelings that produce positive thoughts as real emotions, rejecting everything negative whether thought or felt? Would that be a mistake?
We have all done things that make no sense that were enjoyable. We have done other things that made sense that were so unpleasant we never want to do them again and reject them as something we should do. What we do is not always what makes sense. It does not always feel good. And yet we do those things.
What we feel about what we did or might do again or even that we continually do is not always a good feeling. Yet we keep doing many different things like that. That alone does not make sense just like so many other things we do that do not make sense. Yet we keep feeling things we do not want to no matter how it is explained to us, and no matter what we think, feel or do about it we wind up not feeling good about it.
We also think things that produce negative feelings that are true to other things we think. So we keep thinking them though they make us feel things that are not positive. And it affects what we do. We may cry or act out though we know it is true.
Only rarely if at all do we do things that make sense and produce positive feelings. But should we even do that? For it limits what we might think severely and we would have to reject thinking about so many things that are true. And we feel we should not reject things that are true and it produces negative feelings not to pursue true things. It causes us to do things that are very difficult because of our emotions to get done. Is pursuing the truth; all truths; really something we should do then though we are acting on what we think is true.
We have to rethink this thinking things obviously. We have to admit that to think is also to do something. It must be admitted that thinking certain things causes correlated feelings. Therefore thinking is also to feel. What may be thought is a person then. It is not all intellect but emotional and has a will of its own we may embrace or reject. It is not us. When we pursue intellectual truth then we are not pursuing an idea at all, we are pursuing a thing that has a mind, emotions and a will of its own; a person.
Subjective truth then is also the same way. We can really feel things that are unpleasant even very unpleasant. We can feel things that cause a definite action from merely expressing awe to extreme depression or horror. They produce corresponding thoughts and led us to do corresponding things. Subjective truth is also a person.
And of course we can do things that cause corresponding thoughts whether rational and logical or irrational and illogical. Some of our actions produce corresponding feelings also. But we know that it is not only possible it is likely we can do things we never would have done had we considered the thoughts they would have produced and it is the same with our feelings. We would not have done them had we considered the feelings of others or ourselves that correspond to doing things like that. Therefore the truth of what may be done by us is also a person.
But the person we are dealing with is person also. It thinks things that are true. It feels things that are true. It does things that are true. The truth of what may be thought, felt or done is a person comprised by the truth of each one of those. One person that is true comprised by three persons, intellectual truth, emotional truth and the truth of what may be done.
And we are like that. Whatever truths we accept or know make up the true intellect within, that have produced some the things we felt about that and did about them. The things we felt are also like that and limited to our personal experienced producing thoughts and actions also. It is then also true that we did, produced certain thoughts in us and also certain feelings in us. They are all separate persons in us, and they make up the whole person we are.
Therefore being a person like us and the person of the truth is to be made up by three persons. We can't do anything about it. It is true to our intellect, our emotional being, and in all we decide to do. We are truly a person just like the true person is.
That is real. What do you think about that? What sort of thoughts does it produce in your mind? How do those thoughts make you feel? What sorts of things did you do or consider doing when I shared the truth with you? What sort of things like that did you do when I pointed out the truth is real?
See where it is going? What is real is a person too. But reality is comprised not just by the person of the truth, but by us too. And it has a person of the real truth within it, the real emotional being in it is a real person also, and the things it does or considers doing are of course a separate person in it. It is real. The person of the truth is real. We are a real person with three persons within us also. That is reality, the totality of real people all together really that person with their own unique persons within them.
But reality is not a person in the same sense we are all persons. It is a thing. The universe is full of persons like us. But the person of the truth is discoverable to the point we know that the universe is not a person. It is part of reality. Yes, that's right only part of reality. Our person is no more physically a part of the universe than the person of the truth or the person that is real. At this present time in the here and now, in real time, it is true and very real.
You have thoughts concerning the validity of intellectual truths, but they affect your emotional self or person, and you did whatever it was you did when confronted with the person of the truth. Also each of your three comprising persons thought, felt and acted or did not act accordingly.
Therefore whatever you think about it, whatever you feel about it, or do or do not do because of it; that defines you. And you are truly that you are, you are really that you are and you are a person with three persons comprising you that are just as true and just as real. You are a person that is truly real and a part of that reality, wherein you are that you really are, and that your total person really is.
It doesn't matter what you think, feel or do; that is real, and it doesn't matter either what any of the three persons that comprise you, any of your three selves individually do, feel, or think that defines you the same as it defines them. But more importantly that is the same with the person of the truth and the person that is real. In reality we are all people but not one of us is a physical thing like all the other things in the universe and even the universe itself.
Humanly speaking there was a time when none of us was true or even real? There was a time when our parents had never even met. Yet we were. It was true. We were real. And now that we are real we cannot ever not be real. We were in the beginning and we will be real just as real as the one that is real ever was, is now, and will be without any end.
