• If you have ever scene the 10 part sieries, "Band of Brothers." you would know that the 6th and 7th part is about the men taking Berlin to make thier move into Germany. The battle was in the dead of winter and it was the coldest winter ever recorded in Germany, the soldeirs had only the amo on them, and little to no protection from the cold and hardly any medical supplies. This peom about the men who fought in "The Battle of the Bulge" which was the battle that let us into Germany. I hope you like it.



    Weary are the eyes of the
    men who fight to keep our
    country alive.
    Tired are the soldiers who
    shoot the enemy to keep up
    and survive.
    Though some have fallen
    into an eternal sleep, never
    to fight again
    They know thier brothers are
    still awake, fighting hard to
    keep Berlin.
    May their rest be peaceful and
    and calm so they never need to
    fight once more
    Even though they know this
    battle is making eternal sleep
    know on our door.
    But we stand tall, fight hard
    heads high, so we can win the
    Bulge
    So the world always remember
    the horrible fight that was
    "The Battle of the Bulge"
