• I have had many horrible, absolutely horrible days, but one stood out the most. Here’s its tale. One day, when nothing seemed right I was doing my homework in my once-again noisy after care. Man, where is Mom! I thought to myself. Am I going to be the last one here AGAIN!? Right then my mom burst into the room “Kai time to go!” she yelled grumpily. Oh no not this to add to my list too.
“Ah, we’re finally home,” I sighed.
“No time for that now, are you done with your homework?” Mom asked as if she knew the answer.
    “No…,” I replied shakily.
“Then hurry!” Oh man! I thought. This is going to be a long night. So, I set to work.
Math, check. Spelling, check. Japanese, check. S.S., check. That’s everything! Or so I thought. Time to get washed up! (Showered, bathed. Whatever you call it.) After brushing my teeth, putting PJs on and getting ready for bed I notice something horrifying: my MAP TEST! Oh no, oh no, oh no! “Mom! (This is it!) Come here. (Oh no.) Please! (I feel it coming!)” I shrieked.
“What is it?” Mom asked rather pleasantly. Now I just feel guilty I thought.
“I need to study!” I half mumbled, half complained.
    “When’s the test?”
    “Tomorrow!”
“WHAT!!!” Oh boy. This time it wasn’t Mom though. It was Dad. “Well it’s to late for that, flunk it!” Man he was angry.
“Just let him study for it okay!” Mom said back.
“Whatever, he wasn’t responsible it’s not on my head.”
“I’ll study a bit,” I finally said. After that, it was all downhill. Mom was scolding me for not saying it earlier, and I stayed up for a little studying hard for thirty min. It was horrible.
On this horrible day I learned one thing. I learned you should always stay organized and be prepared. I will never forget this day at all.
