• Funny,how fast a month goes by.
Funny, how the clock ticks down even though you don't now.

    Looking back,I should have known.
It should have been clear, especial for some like me.
Someone studying medicine should know it's purpose.

No,I should have asked her,but she wouldn't have told me.
    She would lead me on.
    Like she did.

    Pain,pure pain.
Every moment the image runs threw my head.
Every moment of that one night.
    Hurts,hurts worse.
    Every time I remember it.

    Another month passed.
    They injected her with life.
    Keeping her alive.
    Again for another month.

    "Let's go outside."
We shouldn't have, but we left the place that would have saved her.
She knew, she knew the whole time.
    What day it was.
    Her final day.

    It was her first date.
It was simple, but she enjoyed it.
    We walked around town.
Enjoying the night's after rain feel.
First throught the city, flashing lights galore.
    Then through the park.

We walked slowly,as she told me about herself.
Points in her life she loved,or ones she wanted to give away.
As stupid as it sounds I told her I could take them.
She laughed and told me I already did.

    "I gotta go."
The sound of sirens going off in the distance.
    I asked where,but she didn't tell.
She rose her hand to my chest.
I could feel my heart beat run into her hand.
I brought mine up to hers, and listened carefully.
She stare up into my eyes, and Feeling her gaze overcame myself.
With the moon casting our shadows on the ground,we kissed.

It didn't last long,so it hurt when she left.
It hurt when slowly her heart stoped beating.
