• ~Luna's P.O.V.~

    Well seeing that feather got me very paranoid...can you blame me? So I decided that I'd go block the front door, that way they woulden't get in as easily. I piled a few things here and there, a small table, some chairs, and an arm chair. I was hoping that would keep them out but just in case i grabbed the crowbar that we left lying around....it was for prtection despit what you may think....im a gang leader not a mobster people there is a diffrence! Suddenly the window's up by the roof were smashed and the same bird thing's that attacked Autumn and I were swooping down towards me, sharp tallon's extended and aimed for my head. The one that seemed to be the leader make the first attack and tryed swoopping low and getting my head. I threw myself to the right hoping I evaded the attack, only to feel the intense pain that ripped through my shoulder. I screamed out in pain as the horrible stinging from the wound became worse. Then they were every where. All I could see where black feathers and small bit of light behinde them. A horrible pain shot through my whole body. I started throwing punches with my good arm and kicking them away which worked, they became airborn again. I got up to my feet and hobbled over to the fire extinguisher in the corner. I sat down trying to get it to work, which was seriously hard since I was one handed now.
    Then they started swooping in on me again. Just before they reached me I got the stupid thing to work, and sprayed them as they came at me. Most of them hit pipe's or furniture since they're vision was impared. The extinguisher stopped spraying just as the largest bird swooped in....i threw the empty extinguisher at it and as luck would have it, it hit it in the head sending to the ground and right into the power box. Spark's came out and things close by caught fire. I started hobbling over to the door as the fire spread . I tryed moving the things I placed earlier on but with one arm and my whole body in pain it wasn't working...the flames were rising and the smoke became thicker. I started screaming for help....

    ~Laura's P.O.V.~

    We finally made it to the factory by the school only to find that it was already up in flames! We all looked around for the door but the only door there was weilded shut.....Suddenly Autumn took off towards the right, something had obviously caught his attention. As we kept running we all started to hear it...Luna's cry for help. Suddenly Autumn stopped and there down a small stairwell were double doors leading inside the building. Autumn rushed down to open them. As he did the thing's baracading the door fell out but Luna wasn't there nor could we hear her voice anymore. The next thing I knew Autumn ran into the burning building....

    ~Luna's P.O.V.~

    I leaned agaenst the closest wall and slid down into a sitting position, the smoke was so thick that my cry's became whisper's untill I coulden't make any sounds at all. I thought about everything up until now. Mom being hospitalized, meeting Autumn,Marcus, Laura and Karl, learning thing Autumn had taught me, my fight's with Marcus, Laura teahing me how to cook, and all the experiance's I'd had with them. Thinking about it all I started to cry, knowing that I woulden't ever be able to see them ever again truly scared me, as lame as it sound's. Suddenly I heard a voice calling my name, for a moment I though I was dreaming but it got louder and louder until I recognized it. It was Autumn. I could see ann outline of someone in the smoke, and tryed my hardest to call but nothing came out. Autumn's voice and the outline started to move away and in panic I managed to call out his name. The outline stoped for a moment and started comeing closer, but everything started to get dim. Suddenly everything went black and I felt a throbbing pain in my head. But I suddenly coulden't feel the ground below me and I felt the air rush past me. Then I felt ice cold air hit my skin. I opened my eye's to see Autumn's face, the was a bit of ash here and there and he looked like he was on the verge of tear's. " Luna are you alright? Can you hear me?" He practically yelled. I opened my eyes a bit more and looked up at him and said, " Yeah im fine but......please stop yelling." I joked. I tryed to smile but the best I could manage was a small non-convincing half smile. Then everthing went black.

    2 days later
    Everything was back to normal, except for the fact I was bed ridden for 2 weeks, Autumn never let me out of his sight for a second and Marcus wasn't talking to me since I scared him after Autumn pulled me out of the fire. Karl went back to were ever it is he live's. He also promised me before he left that he won't try and force me to live with him anymore but that his home was open to me anytime. So now I'm just relaxing in Autumn's bed since my room's still not done yet. Autumn's been sitting my the bedside since I woke up, and i'm pritty sure he's been sitting there before I woke up too. He doesn't say much to me since he know's it's hard for me to talk still but every once in a while he would start a very small conversation. But he alsway's gives me that half smile of his I adore, and never leaves my side. I kind of hope that one day when Autumn's sick or sad I can do the same thing for him...
