- The moonlight was bright as it shown down across the deep blue waters of Avalon. The night was cold, and snow blanketed the ground thickly. Caara walked to the water's edge, and look down at her wavering reflection in the water. Her pure white dress fell to right below her ancles, and the collar stopped right at the middle of her neck. The long sleeves came to just past her palms, and was slightly ripped. Her dark brown wavy hair cascaded down her shoulders, and back. Her brown leather boots came to her knees under her dress, and kept her feet warm in the frozen weather. Caara stood straight, fists clinched tightly at her sides. "How could I possibly be of any worth to anyone..?" she thought, still staring down at her reflection. "Who AM I?", she looked up at the stars, as they seemed to be there just for her. Then she closed her eyes tightly, and clinched her teeth, as a single lonely tear fell down her cheek. "Who am I...." she whispered quietly to herself. Then, in the trees behind her, she heard something...or rather, someONE. She looked around, the saddness almost gone from her endless looking gray eyes. It was replaced by anger, and fear. She turned, and ran as fast as she could, tears streaming down her face. "Why..why are they after ME!?" she franticly thought. The cold air hit her face like an icey cold hand trying to take the life from her. She kept running, disappearing into the darkness of the night.
