• It all began 10 years ago, I was just an average 5 year old girl with a loving family living up in the mountains. I was happy and I always felt free, but my destiny changed forever when I found that gem. It was nestled in the rocks by the river it look so beautiful that I had to get it. But the moment I touched it, the stonge changed from a white crystal to an Opal Star shaped gem. It glowed brightly in my hands and then before I knew I was floating 3ft above the ground. I laughed and flew home once I got home it all became blank before I knew it my house was surrounded in flames, I cried scared one moment the flames are about to lick my bare feet and the next I am outside watching my house burn to a pile of ashes.

    After that it is all a blur as I stumbled through the forest my mind in shock and blank as I don't even shed tears. The only thing I have is the gem and I hold onto as if my life depended on the soul existence of me keeping it within my grasp.

    I don't know how long time passes but eventually my legs give out, I cannot tell if it is night or day for soon I lose my very ability to see I can't tell if my eyes are open or closed I feel nothing. I am not even sure if I am alive or if I ever existed. After awhile I seem to give up, until I hear the sound of foot steps coming closer towards me, my first instinct is to get up and run but I cannot move so I sit and wait for fate to pass judgement.

    "Hello little one", a voice says I look up to find an elderly asian man with long grey hair and beard. He has a kind but strict face but also very wise. I don't know quite yet if I can trust him. "You have suffered great misfortune little one, in your hand you posess great power that has destroyed the life that you knew.

    "Who-Who are you?", I ask hearing my voice in a long while it is raspy and dry.

    "I am Master Kon dear one and I can help you if you'll let me", he said as he crouched down to look at me in the eyes. "You are not alone we have very much the same force of power and the same misfortune that comes along with it. I can train you to master that power and also give you a home."

    My brain told me to be weary of this man for he was a stranger but my heart told me otherwise, I guess my heart took over that day for I was able to use all the little strength I had to grasps his and grip it tightly. "Please, please help me", I said.

    Master Kon smiled as he picked me up and carried me on my back as we walked through the forest eventually he asked me. "Tell me child what is your name?".

    I thought about it and wondered what my name was, I had forgotten so much eventually one word came into my mind as I spoke. "Aurora that is my name", I see him smile and nod and soon I drift into sleep and when I awoke I knew I was going to be reborn. Whoever I was in my former life had died in the flames and from the ashes came a little girl by the name of Aurora. And that little girl would grow into a strong gem warrior, a wanderer and many a foe would beware of the another name she would soon be given. "The Star Striker".

    This is my story and this is where my journey begins.
