• Autumn had instructed me to block the door. So I piled everything in the room infront of the door which consisted of a very heavy chair, a small wooden table, two lamp's, and myself. Autumn was leaning agenst the wall to my right struggling to stand up. Theose monster's did one bang up of a job, Autumn looked like he was about to fall apart. " Luna we have to keep away from those demon's until Marcus, Laura, and Karl get's here...." He said weakly. " Who's Karl?" I asked. "...He's....ugh Luna I'll explain later now's not the time." He said agitated. Well excuse me for not knowing all the vampire's in the tri-county area! Shesh....didn't need to be so rude about it. I forgot about Autumn's weird way of knowing what I was thinking, and soon his face looked kinda sad. " Im sorry Luna I didn't mean to yell..." He tryed to explain it but I was way beyond being reasoned with. " Ya whatever...there's monster's chasing us and god know's what's gonna happen next, wasn't the place to ask a stupid question im sorry so just drop it!" I yelled. He just looked at me with concern, but I wasn't in the mood. I mean I saved his life and so far all I've gotten in return is being yelled at and ordered around, I wasn't really in the mood for an explanation. Suddenly something hit the door and I was flung forward. "Luna are you alright?" Autumn asked alarmed. It knocked the breath right outta me so it took a minute before I could say I was fine. Whatever hit the door was strong, and it was bent on getting in here. Autumn proped me up and helped me to my feet, which was more effort on my part then his. Another strong solid hit to the door came, and more right after. The thing's I had piled up were already scattered on the floor in minute's, and the door was starting to give way. The bolts to the door suddenly came right out and the door bent, around the edge's I caught sight of black feather's.....our number was up, unless Marcus, Laura or whats-his-face showed up in the next 30 second's we where dead. Outside I could hear tire's screech, and car door's slam. Apperently those thing's did too, because they left toward's the stair's. Next thing I knew I heard Squwak's and Yelp's from the bird's and then Marcus calling for us.....i don't think i've ever been so happy to hear Marcus's voice! Look's like we were gonna make it after all.....
