the flame burnt out, leaving nothing but hot ashes,as the young teen gripped his chest tightly easing his pain.the sound of war rang through his ears.bullets, blood, and death where all that greated him,and all that left him as he dropped onto the hard rugged dirt ground stained by gun powder and his own blood.men in green shot passed him firing countless bullets ignoring his pain.he knew they wouldn't stop they followed orders, orders that only led to death.he closed his eyes slowly as the bullet slowly continued digging towards his heart.he let death slowly cover him in it's agonizing grip, but before he left he slowly drew the word out with his hand.the word "family" left out in the blackened soil only to be stomped out by thick rubber boots.
a burden,a heavy burden lie on that mans shoulders,or you could say it lie in his hands.a white envelope brought unimaginable pain and suffering.it slowly weighed his hand down as he opened the wooden door, but only disgust lie on the otherside of the door.cause when the news hit the family no tears where shed,no emotional breakdowns occured.only angry glares, and "i told you so's" they felt no pain for him,it was his choice.they knew war is no place for a seventeen year-old,but he choice his death.
what should have been a terrible time for his friends and famiy was nothing but normal days for them.no one,no one, knew of his death besides his family, and they refused to talk of it.so no one shed a tear exept for one.she remained worried about him since the beging.she was told constantly not to worry, but she didn't listen until one day.she met a guy, they became friends, so on.then she forgot, about her worries, and with that the hot glowing ashes slowly burnt out
back on the war field covered in blood and black powder.on the ground lie the single word "family" next to it a single stream of tears
