• Lucas woke up to the blinding light of the afternoon sun beatting down on his face. He thrusted his hand to block the sun from attacking his eyes once more. Then he noticed something odd. Why hadn't his mother woken him up this morning for breakfast...Where is she. Lucas got up and put on a small brown tan travel shirt and some blue denim shorts and went downstairs to check to see if mom was awake. "Hey mom? Why didn't you wake me up?" Lucas said while walking down the stairs only to noticed his mom wasn't busy knitting or drawing up plans for a job..."Mom are you in the kitchen?" Lucas had no success finding his mother in the house. So Lucas went outside to go see if his nextdoor neighbor Reina knew where his mother went. He knocked on Reina's door. "Hey Reina are you home?!" The door opened as soon as he knocked on it. He walked in only to notice everything in Reina's house to be thrown around and anything that was paper-like was ripped and destroyed...Obviously something happened here he thought. Lucas then gasped at the horror he saw. Reina's pet cat Leli had been strung to a lamp by her tail and skinned alive with skin peeled and blood spattered all over the walls of the living room Lucas ran over into the kitchen and began vommiting in the sink at the gross and vile image that was floating in his mind...Of someone hurting Reina...her parents...and skinning her cat alive...The thoughts came racing to his mind hearing Reina scream...Her parents yelling and trying to fight back...The cat hissing and meowing for help until she was breathless and only a dead corpse of a animal...These thoughts raced through Lucas' mind and he finally caved in and colapsed on the floor...motionless he lay there...until an alarm awoke him...a wurring noise made him jump in a state of shock and fear...Lucas ran out of the house only to find that it was downpouring outside. Lucas ran over to his mom's car to get out of town and find someone, until he saw a horrific sight he could never imagine in his wildest dreams...a beast with human-like stature but the appearence he had been turned inside out and had sores and holes all around his body...the sight wanted to make Lucas faint but the beast jumped out from the back of his mothers car and started to slash at him with widely sharp, tipped fingernails made of what appeared to be steel. Lucas jumped and dodged only to get grazed by the beasts extremely long blades...then another swing and another dodge until finally the beast had cornered him..."Leave me alone! What are you!" The beast twitched his head in response and with his hands started to pry open his mouth until there was a hole that somewhat resembled a mouth...Then the real horror began for you see, it talked in a voice most familiar to him. "I am nothing..." It had said...Lucas was in shock as he stared at the beast. "Cody...?" Then the beast lunged at him and stabbed him in the face. "Ahh!" Lucas shot out of bed with his covers wrapped around his face and trying to peel them off from the near shock of his nightmare..."It was only a dream Lucas it was only a dre..." Was all he could finish saying before he felt something wet under his foot...He threw the covers over to find Leli dead,skinned,and bleeding by his feet. "Ahhhhh!"
