• Before I went to my warm and comfortable bed I knew someone or something was still there with us. Jaden was licking me uncontrollably it was bothering me.
    " Hey Ghostie, are you still stalking me?" I whispered.
    " Hey, I'm not stalking you." Jaden appeared.
    " Hold on..stop it Jaden." I told the dog.
    " How are you going to not confuse me with that monster?"
    " What makes you think you can call him a monster but not yourself?" I questioned him.
    " Just answer." he responded.
    " I don't know yet truthfully. Do you have any ideas Mr. " Just Answer." I mimicked.
    " Change his name?" he contributed the idea.
    " No. I like it."
    I could see the ghost smiling.
    " Okay maybe I can change it..hmm..JayJay..no.." I stammered.
    " That'll work..for now." he encouraged the thought. He knew I didn't want to change it.
    " Jaden."
    " Hmm.."
    " Why are you here anyway?"
    " I kind of felt my way here. Something told me you had a problem."
    " A problem?"
    " Yea..like you could hear thoughts or something like that.."
    " Who told you that?!" I was really angry. Nobody should have known that.
    " So, it's true?"
    " Sadly..yes..it's an awful thing to have."
    " Really?" he thought.
    " The voices all running through my head."
    " Don't talk about it.." he murmured.
    " Thanks. I don't know why but you make me happy inside. I feel so stressed in school but now..you just all of a sudden took away all of the stress. Thank you. Jaden."
    He smiled at me then turned around to face my desk full of pictures. I saw him grab the picture of my family and I going to Egypt. He placed the picture down then carefully took the picture of Rosalie and I when we were so very little. Maybe about five or six.
    " How do you like being fifteen now, Angeline?" he asked.
    " It's wonderful. How old are you?"
    " I'm fifteen too."
    " That's cool."
    " I love this age for some reason. It's not too young or not too old. It's perfect." he replied.
    " Do ghosts have bedtimes?" I asked curiously.
    " No but humans do. Go to sleep Angel. Sleep well."
    Hearing the sound of my nicknames helped me remembered all of the memories I had with my families. I could hear my cousins running up to me and giving me the warmest hugs. I would see Rosalie taking the chocolate fountain and pouring the whole waterfall of chocolate on me. And the memory that stood out the most was Jaden.

    I woke up to see Rosalie next to me kneeling. I sat up and she looked up at me then the ceiling.
    " What happened? Why didn't you wake me up? I'm late for school!" I coughed.
    " Angie, you have a fever." her voice frightened me.
    " No I don't."
    " Yes you do."
    " But today my project for chemistry is due. I'll probably have so much algebra homework and my.." I coughed so hard I got up and threw up in my sink. After I cleaned the mess I looked at my sister.
    " Rosalie. Why are you still here?"
    " Mom and Dad are at the grocery store. They told me to take care of you. Besides, school is canceled today."
    " It is? That's good. Will you excuse me a moment?"
    " Sure." Rosalie walked out of the room.
    " PSST..Jaden? JADEN!"
    Rosalie came back in.
    " YOU LOST JADEN?!?!"
    " No no no...you see..well.."
    " I knew I should have bought you a leash instead. Crap, now we have to look for him."
    I looked around the bed to find the puppy sleeping. I grabbed him and woke his huge curious eyes.
    " Found him?" I asked myself.
    Rosalie grabbed the little angel and started rubbing his belly and all that other trick things you're suppose to do to care or play with your pet. She grabbed him and her phone and set out for her own room.
    I grabbed my phone and stared at my wallpaper. I decided to change it. Then a text went up. It was Annie.
    Hey Angie. How's being fifteen? Well I hope you are feeling well. Rosalie texted me. I hope you will get this text soon. I'll be at your house in fifteen minutes. I have a surprise for you. This'll be my late birthday present.

    I got up and started to get dressed. I couldn't wait. Annie would always get me the best gifts.
