The war has been going on for about three sunrises in the land of the nobles. Mounted atop their fearsome fleet beasts, the nobles sounded the horns in signal for the whole army to be ready for combat. Several of those nobles were not from their own kin, different from each other. One rider that sat on the right of their commanding officer, was bare-skinned, no armor on him, just a leather tunic and a small thorned-shield to guard him against attacks. Armed with not only a mighty sword, but also a long, majestic bow, carved form the stones of life, and a few dozen arrows to aid him in his quiver. On the left side of the commander, sat a woman, clad in green. Her dress had been sewn with sequins in the shades of jade and emerald. She stood five feet tall, and her complexion are like one of her own, she could have passed appearing as a human, but her vicious glare and those pair of pointed ears jutting out from her long silvery-white hair, marked her race as an elf warrior. Lastly, the warrior in the middle, sat on his mount, observing every move the enemy made. Dressed in shades of black, thick armor, his eyes seem emotionless, as he eyed the enemy on the other side of the vast field they call home.
A Shadow swept past over all three of them, and a figure landed in front of them all. A gargantuan eagle, with it's feathers glistening gold against the beaming sun, those golden orbs, eyed the rider in the middle, slowly, the beast bowed. The mounts on which the riders sat upon, started to hiss and snarl, as they watched the avian revert back to its own form. And now, before the three warriors, what once stood as a wise eagle, now stood a warrior clad in silver armor, with his helmet in the shape of an eagle's head tucked under his perfectly built arm. His Lengthy hair blowing gently as the gentle breeze rode by, giving it's regards to it's master. The noble in the middle signaled the silver armored figure, "Speak, Avan..." said the proud warrior.
Kneeling down on one knee, Avan spoke, "The demons are far too much in numbers. I fear we cannot hold them long enough for the spell to fully develop." Hearing this, the elf glared at Avan and snapped, "It matters not how numerous our foes are. It matters not how many of us are to be slain. What matters is that we, the aspects, are to hold them at bay and keep the monsters at bay, even if it costs us our lives!" said the elf as she urged her mount towards Avan.
"Very well spoken my dear sister..." Said the bare-skinned warrior.
"Much obliged, my dear brother Temin." Replied the elf.
"At any moment now, they'll try and destroy the spell's matrix." The commander interrupted.
"Indeed Ceonri, Indeed..." Avan Answered...
"I pray we may need the help of our friend once again my friend..." Ceonri said as he patted Avan's shoulder.
"I will send message to the keep when we are in need." He replied. Then a strong breeze brushed the Avian Lord's face and a frown replaced his smirk, "Our adversaries are on the move..." Avan added.
Loud horns sounded and filled the air. This awoke the army of defenders, and started to move towards the oncoming demons.
With heavy command on the soldiers, Temin led lancers, and swordsmen through the demon's frontlines. Hacking and Slashing through the frontline like butter, the creature proved to be a force reckon to be dealt with. His thick skin on his body, proved to be a great defense against the arrows. Grabbing his bow in fluid like reflexes, Temin shot an arrow straight through the demon's toothy maw and sent it sprawling down the demon infront of him. From his mount the black knight rode down the hill along with the rest of the defenders, swinging both swords in his perfectly built arms, he blocked and countered every attack he met.
Firing off another concentrated beam of lightning from his maw, Avan, in his majestic eagle form, continued wreaking havoc amongst the enemy lines, destroying heavy machinery which added to the demon's chaos. Although the battle seemed to be in the defender's favor. A sudden force of change occured, Avan was struck by an incoming sword to his chest, a warrior on a gargoyle had came undetected and came for the killing strike. With a howl of despair, Avan fell, his orbs losing their glow, as the avian lost all strenght. With a large thud, he hit the ground just near the defender's line.
Temin, saw that ranks of elves began falling one by one, by this warlock, using his spells aiding the demons. Roaring, he urged his mount to ride towards him, and readied himself for anything. Lunging at the warlock, he prayed to the Gods to guide his blade straight through towards the traitor's heart. Feeling the answer of the Gods, Temin's sword had hit the warlock's heart, and withered into nothing but a husk that used to be it's body, blood spattered all over Temin's body, he felt several burning sensations all over the spots where the blood had hit. Screaming in agonizing pain, Temin ran about the defender's ranks as his skin slithered off his body like a snake shedding. He fell off his mount, twitching and in deep pain as the acidity of the blood ate through his muscles and bones. His sister, Azeria saw this and ran towards him..."Brother! Brother!" She said, kneeling before him...
"Oh my dear dear brother, what happened...?" She asked.
"My dear sister, careful...of...th..e...blo..od...it....s....aci...d" He uttered
"Let me heal you..." She suggested.
"Its too late for me...I don't....wa....nt...to.........d...i..e.....in the ene...my's.....weapon.............Kill.....m....e.....sis..." He pleaded
Shaking her head, she said no. But stuborn as his brother is, Temin Pulled her sword and thrust it into his heart. With a smile of satisfaction, Temin closed his eyes and said his final good bye to his beloved sister.
Tears rolling down her cheeks, Azeria cried out into the dead air, her despair, her loss for her brother...then silence won her over, Ceonri walked over to her, "His death will not be in vain." He said, and Azeria looked at him, "Losing are we not?" She uttered, "Losing to those acursed demons." She added gripping her blood bathed sword.
"We can still turn the tides if 'he' arrives." the warrior said.
"I believe he will not come to aid us once more." Answered the elf
"Lets give him more time..." He said..."Time we may give t-"
"TIME WE HAVE NOT!!" She snapped, "WE HAVE NO MORE TIME!! We ARE pushed BACK against the mountains!" She added.
"Azeria...ca-"
"WE ARE AT OUR LIMITS!! Many HAVE BEEN SLAIN!! MOST ARE FROM OUR RANKS!!! IF 'HE' DOES NOT ARRIVE HERE SOON ENOUGH!! WE ARE DEAD!!!"
The outburst of the elven aspect had left the human speechless, that was until, a voice sounded behind the elf...
"I Fear that you are once again in panic, Azeria..." Said the stranger from behind her. Reflexes kick in and Azeria turned aiming her sword directly at the stranger's throat.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa...easy aspect. I've come again to give my aid." He said forcing the sword down.
"Kathari!! You have Come!!" Ceonri shouted.
"I Keep my word. I hope you keep the end of your bargain 'Human' . " He said.
"Always Kathari, always." Replied the npble.
Kathari nodded. The new arrival was different from all the others. He walked on two, and mostly acted like everyone else. Clad in deep blue armor, his blue eyes shimmered like pools of a crystal clear lake at sunrise, his silver hair at it's waist line length, and his skin, pale and white as snow. In his hand, he held a staff of pure ivory, on the other, he held a sword, forged with all the essences of the dragon's orb. As he made his way towards the frontlines, he started chanting something in an old language known only to those of his kind, whilst chanting, his pale complexion changed into the shade of his own deep blue armor, and scaled started to grow all over his body, the armor blending perfectly onto his skin,. He got on all fours with his arms and legs turning into paws, his spine elongated and grew into a slender and scaley long tail. His shoulder blades broadened as it grew into those gargantuan, leathery wings. His face shifted and grew into a muzzle, his eyes changing into reptilian ones, and his ears moved towards the top of his head. A gentle crest grew from his head towards his spine and ended up towards his tail.
After that horrific transformation, Kathari stood a good fifty feet. A blue dragon stoof amongst the ranks of the defenders. Letting out a loud and proud roar into the sky, a score of falling comets filled the sky and hit the demons withering their numbers quickly. Letting out a huge blast of shimmering blue fire from his toothy maw, Kathari eliminated a stream of demons in front of him. The tides were turned and now the demons were on the run, retreating, trying to get away fromthe gigantic dragon. Kathari rampaged through the ranks of his enemies, one swing of his wing sent demons up and plummet towards their deaths. Another breath of fire burned another score of demons into ashes.
Stepping harshly into a paw-full of demons, Kathari roared out with his head held up.
Then a mic hits Kathari's eye....
"CUT!!! CUT!!! CUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Somebody shouted, "Get that mic stand fixed!!!" the director said
"OW!!!" He shouted as the mic hit his delicate eye.
