• what the heck is she saying? does she think im some stupid person who will believe anything anyone told me? cause im not. and how old is she anyway? she looks like shes 16!

    i stood up, ready to walk out of the compartment, when she said "wait! im telling the truth!"

    "then prove it! prove to me that what you say is true, im tired of being lied to!" i shouted, it was probably the first time i shouted at anyone since that time in elementary school were i ended up getting a record.

    "sit down and ill show you" i sat back with a loud thump, my arms crossed. i stared at her not in a mean way but in a way to just make her fidget.

    "well for me to show you i have to explain something to you"

    trying to control my annoyance and anger, i relaxed a little but still stared at her in the same way."ok im listening"

    she moved around in her seat, thinking of how to begin. well i am what someone would call a knowledge seeker. i give and hold knowledge for my other half, that is knowledge on other creatures, places, objects and such, basically like a book."

    i became a little interested nut the remembered how one of my old friends said and believed that she was a lady-in-waiting for a court that was part of some society and she had certain abilities, which i eventually proved that she didn't have.

    and another who though she could see ghosts ,i soon proved that wrong too. though the methods i used were pretty mean.

    i no longer became their friends of course, making me believe everything and doing what they said and worrying about them when there was no need, when in the end they all lied to me.

    the lady continued after a pause, which i used to reminisce about past lairs. " i or we, the knowledge seekers, first appear as humans and in certain situations shift into their human forms. although we are animals and are meant to stay that way."

    "what animal are you?" i couldn't resist, now i knew she was lying.

    "ill show you though i wont be able to turn back, unless the situation demands it"

    she stood up, turned in a circle and became... a baby snow leopard!
