• Chapter 3: Battles between clans

    When Neko was walking home from school a green dog started to chase after her.
    “EEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK! WHY THE HELL IS THIS DOG CHASING ME!” Yelled Neko
    The dog kept chasing her even when she got home, she ran past Blair.
    “Was that who I think it is?” Said Blair
    “WHY IS THIS DOG STILL CHASING ME?! I EVEN RAN PAST A BUNCH OF CATS!” Yelled Neko
    “Inu! Stop chasing her!” commanded Blair
    The dog stopped imminently and went to Blair.
    “Sorry forgot to say you might get chased after by dogs since you now are a cat.” Said Blair
    “Well why the hell are you not being chased?!” Yelled Neko angrily
    “I put a spell on myself to stop dogs from chasing me. Pretty smart right? Oh and this is Inu from the dog clan. Introduce yourself Inu.” Said Blair
    The green dog transformed into a little green haired boy with green eyes, green dog ears on his head, a green tail and wings.
    “I am Inu and like Blair said I am from the dog clan. Sorry for chasing you, I couldn’t help myself.” Said Inu embarrassed
    “Its ok you are a dog after all.” Said Neko in a kind voice while smiling
    Inu started to blush.
    “So how do you know each other?” asked Neko
    “Well I meet Inu when he was still just a pup. It seems he was alone from the start. So I decided to take him in because I was alone once just like him.” Said Blair
    “That’s so sad, what happened to you though?” said Neko sadly
    “My parents were killed. They were killed by humans. They tried to save me from being killed because some people found me and were about to kill me because I am a demon/angel. In the process they sacrificed their lives for me and for that I keep living because I am the life that they wanted to live so badly that they sacrificed their lives for me. Said Blair sadly
    Neko began to burst into tears and she could tell why Kite wanted revenge.
    “Do you know what kind of person Kite use to be?” Asked Neko
    “I remember when he was just a boy; he had silver hair, wolf ears and a tail, yellow eyes and wings. He was so kawaii. He was popular with everyone because of his looks and also because he had such a pure heart. All of that change when the humans killed his family and his friends. Now his heart is pure no more, it is now filled with rage.” Said Blair
    “Lady, you sure do have stories to tell ^w^.” Said Inu
    “Neko you should get ready for tonight because this night we are going to get some artwork.” Said Blair
    It was 10pm and everyone was at the museum. There were many traps they had to face and if a guard came they would turn into a cat and hide in the shadows. They carefully took the painting and left.
    “That was easy.” Said Kyo
    A shadow came from the back of Kyo, it was Kite and he was about to attack but luckily Kyo noticed him and ducked. He then kicked him in the stomach and brought out his kunai. Before Kyo could hit him again Kite hid in the shadows to wait for a chance to strike.
    “Toki I need you to take the painting and hide. Neko and Natsumi go with her and make sure the paintings safe. There may be others so be on the look out.” Said Blair
    “Okay!” Said the three girls
    The three girls started running, Kite tried to follow them but he was stopped by Kyo who threw a kunai at him.
    “You’re not going anywhere!” Yelled Kyo
    Kyo tried to kick Kite in the head but Kite blocked it before impacted. Before Kyo could attack Kite again he hid in the shadows and went after the girls.
    “GRR! I can’t believe I let him get away!’ Yelled Kyo
    “Stop yelling and let’s go after him before he gets the girls!” Yelled Yuki
    “Wow you actually said something smart for once.” Said Mizuki
    “I’m going to ignore that since we’re in a hurry.” Said Yuki as he left to look for the girls
    The three girls were in the park and Kite already caught up to them. Neko and Natsumi tried to hold Kite off while Toki tried to fly away with the painting but Kite somehow got past Neko and Natsumi. He was about to strike but a dark figure pushed him away.
    “You’re not laying one finger on this painting!” Came a voice from the shadows
    Kite took one look at the dark figure and he knew who it was and that he couldn’t win the fight so he fled. The dark figure then helped Neko, Natsumi and Toki up.
    “Are you girls all right?” Asked the voice from the shadows
    A girl with short red hair with a pony tail, fox ears and a fox tail with red eyes came out of the shadows.
    “We’re all right, who are you and what just saved me?” replied Toki
    “Oh I am Sakura Dark and this is Nami. She’s a fox.” Said Sakura
    “You’re from the Dark family but I thought they were all humans.” Said Neko
    “Well I guess you could say I’m a half demon. Half human and half of the fox clan. I’m assuming that you know that the Dark family has special powers and just to prove it Nami is a creation of mine.” Said Sakura
    As the girls were talking the boys and Blair showed up.
    “Thank you Sakura for helping them.” Said Blair
    “No problem.” Said Sakura happily
    Toki then fell to the floor. Everyone gathered around her asking what’s wrong.
    “I’m so tired from carrying the painting and running so much.” Said Toki out of breath
    “Okay since you all seem tired then we’ll have a meeting tomorrow back here. Sakura can you come back here tomorrow?” Said Blair
    “It’s fine with me.” Said Sakura
    So they all went home to bed before their parents noticed they were gone.
