She looked around her. What was coming? And why was this happening to her? She wasn't sure where she was or how she got here. She looked around frantically searching for a branch to protect herself with in the cold, quiet darkness. The longer she searched, the faster the beast was coming. Realizing she hadn't much time left, she quickly gathered all her strength, and ran..
Ran where? And why was she running to a random place in the darkness? She didn't know. All she was focused on was getting away before the worst of all situations could come down upon her. Suddenly she saw a light. A light! She thought. Finally somewhere i can escape to! She ran harder then, as though her legs were a machine, running as she wished without stopping, with little men inside them giving it gas to keep trudging along. Suddenly she felt a cold, wet, strike on her head. Then another..and another.. What was it? Was it that thing that had been chasing her? The thing that led her into this horrid darkness, which she could not see her own hands, and white T-Shirt? No, it was rain. Rain that pounded her head as if it had steel instead of water packed inside of it. But she did not let it interfere with her running she kept on strong and powerful, with every step feeling like a boost to safety, where she would run into her mother arms again. To savor every moment while her mother hummed softly while she cooked, or when her father would bring home snacks in the afternoons, and her two twin brothers would jump into his arms grateful for his return from a long days work. Those memories quickly faded as she stood one step infront of the light. She could see her mothers face through it like a mirror. She could see her mother had been crying, while holding a body in her hands. "Mom!" She screamed. "Mom! I'm right here!" She then ran into the light, only to have it reflect her back to where she just stood. She tried with all her might to push past the light. Nothing worked. She screamed and yelled, but still she couldn't pass. Her heart began to pound as she felt the creature getting closer..and closer...closer. She looked behind her, but then back at the mirror again. She looked in closer through the mirror. She stil saw her mother crying, holding a limp body in her hands. It was her, and she was dead.
