She walked into the room and looked around a little nervously because it was after all the first day of school and she was a little afraid of what would happen that day because it seemed like she might not know anybody from last year. Turns out she was right in a way, she knew all of about 5 people that day from last year. Any way back to the present, the girl cast her glance around the room looking for a familiar face of some sort and not succeding. Then she saw her, Amythyst and the girl Danielle felt a surge of what felt like liquid lightning, something so purely shocking and delightful, that for a few moments it felt like she could scarcely breath. Then she recovered, found a seat towards the back of the classroom where she could steal covert glances at Amythyst and maybe try to figure out what was compelling her so. It was something about Amythyst's whole persona and how she acted and for sure she had plenty of natural chasima, a forceful personality, and more than a little natural beauty.
Danielle felt more than just a little dazed and dazzled by Amythyst. And then the bell rang signaling the end of that class period and a reprieve from Amythyst's natural glamour. Mean while Danielle had to figure out how to withstand Amythyst's natural charm while she was supposed to be working on her classwork. She thought "Maybe I can just ignore her until I finish my work." That was appearently easier said than done, because in 3rd period when she was supposed to be paying attention to the Theatre Arts teacher it seemed like her gaze kept sliding over to Amythyst. Danielle was pretty sure felt her heartstrings being plucked more and more everytime her gaze found it's way over to Amythyst. Amythyst on the other hand seemed blind to Danielle's ever lingering glances.
And then the teacher annouced that everybody would pair up with someone for a mirroring excircise. While Danielle stood there trying to figure out who would be a good partner the theatre teacher sent Amythyst over to Danielle to pair up. Danielle was more than just a little nervous about Amythyst being partners but luckly they couldn't talk to one another or they would get in trouble. That was fine with Danielle because she felt like she couldn't trust her voice any way and breathed a sigh of relief.
