• Falling, a giggle bursts from her lips from the joy and excitement rushing through her. Her hair fans out into a wide circle around her head and her arms are open wide as though welcoming. Her eyes are closed with a smile playing upon her lips. She breathes out as she touches the flexible mat and is sprung upwards again. She twists her legs elegantly, rolling in mid air. Landing on her back again, she lets herself bounce. A hum of happiness starts in the back of here throat as she sings a distant lullaby. She curls up, a breeze lightly traces her outline, with the feeling of a finger stroking her. Almost purring with her blanket of the afternoon sun on her back, and the soothing calm of the wind, she rests quietly. Her mind revisits wondrous memories of childhood, from collecting rocks to a warm and fuzzy hug from her mother.

A boy watches her, smiling to himself of how she acts like herself alone. He wished for the freedom she experienced in front of his own eyes, and her beautiful happiness she emitted into the atmosphere, encouraging the birds to sing and the bugs to buzz. As she settled, he hesitantly walked over, gaining confidence in his stride. As he came near, he stopped. Since he didn't want to creep up on her, he would have to make his presence known. Softly, he spoke "May I join you?" And waited patiently for signs of acknowledgment. The girl shifted, and nodded whispering "yes..."

Gulping, the boy, Sathic, was acutely aware to minute details of his surroundings, while he settling next to his new found companion. He felt overwhelmed, with his heart pumping loudly in his throat. Random moments would cause his head to spin, or stomach to flip, and he noticed how quickly he breathed. What he imagined was worse was the deep red spreading across his cheeks.

Hope sighed gently as she let Sathic join her for the evening. She remained silent, not wanting to break her moment of pure enlightenment, though she had already spoken. Instead, she watched as the sky darkened to a royal blue, and the faintest twinkle of a star appeared in the sky. When she tried to contemplate the changes of life that happen so quickly, her thoughts were always recollected and brought to the subject of the lonely boy next to her.

Rolling over, Hope examined him. His figure was normal, broadening shoulders, height acceptable and strong muscles. She smiled when she saw his large feet, since she was glad he had flaws. Her eyes traveled to his face, where they met the gaze of his own ocean, sparkling blue eyes. Both blinked, before their lips were pulled to a small smile. She noticed that his hair wasn't in great condition, and realized that she had an impulse to run her hand through it. Her mind took over instinct, making her turn away, to stare once again at the stars, which glimmered innocently as though they had never seen a spark of love ignite.
