I think you brought it up too high for your dad. It looks like he has sun burn on the back of his neck.
Composition wise, its okay since it looks like you took it as a snapshot. Like you can see there is a car on the right side behind the trees, which is a bit distracting as it is in the center of the picture opposite of your dad. - Report As Spam
