I was at home this day and in Palm Springs it actually started to rain really hard that the it became so cold over the mountain that it was covered in a blanket of fog. So I thought I take of shot of it since it look really nice that day even though it was cold and raining.

- Wow, this is beautiful! Although I'm not keen on the random roof bit at the top, but otherwise it's a beautiful photo!

- I don't want to sound critical because it's a personal choice, but I think the overhang is very distracting, it worked better in your other shot. The rest of the shot is fabulous, the color and composition are perfect and you had really good lighting.
