So, after going to the store, I was able to get a very cheap pack of colored pencils. I tried out new techniques with the hair, large dahlia flower, and skin tone. I am pretty happy with the end result,
My mediums were crayola colored pencils. The line art was done with Faber Castell PITT artist pens (varying weights). - Date: 02/10/2012

this is outstanding. To improve it, i suggest you place the mouth a little lower and shape her pointer finger more.
