there was a floating lantern ceremony for those that have passed away and my mom told me to make one for my grandma and my grandpa. this is one side of it.
the ceremony was a couple months ago
we let the lanterns go at sea (saw a lot of them sink and come back)

- if you want a more crisp image i recommend try buying a hand held portal wand scanner. it does the same job as a regular scanner but smaller. Also what type of medium is your artwork because it looks like water color to me due to how much different dark lines it has in the sleeve. If it's marker though i recomend try to learn coloring techniques for makers so you don't have all those unnecessary lines in your artwork. Overall it's a great drawing.
