This was a collaboration piece between me and a friend of mine on FA. I did the original and he did the inking and coloring. We've done a few collaborative pieces, so far, but I love how this one came out.
The character's a vicious and cannibalistic hyena. However, he's practical... not some unstoppable demon, godly being with Superman powers. He's raw, in-your-face aggression that's quite practical. - Date: 11/13/2010

I've no idea where you gathered "macho and bulky" from a portrait containing moderate proportions. Either way, I don't like drawing skinny characters.

- Hyenas are usually not quite as macho and bulky as this-- a bit thinner. But this is still really good. 4/5.
