- I don't think much of the shading, the necks funny shaped, and the head is lopsided. And I agree with the two people below me.

- the left side of the head doesn't really match well with the right. ^^; Other than that, it's nice.

- you can shade very well without using a smudging technique. that's what i do in my drawings all the time, though i usually draw a lot smaller figures than this. basically, to shade with a pencil you just draw lines that are very close together, but look smooth. its easier to use a sweeping motion with your wrist. the shading on the neck is always darker at the bottom and at the corners under the jaw. and of course the neck is too long, like others have said.

- before people tell me to improve on shadeing, we weren't aloud to use a smuging technique, it was to see how well we could control the shadeing with just a pencil (i should have said this in the discription)

- the neck is a little too long, and the shading could be smoother. try using a tissue or something to rub over the skin and blend the pencil marks. keep it up though!
