- Honestly I think the pose is good, and he can be holding the book with his thumb! Anyway, the only thing I see is that he's cross eyed. Otherwise I think it's great :3 You've got proportions down, which most people can't draw.

- The way he's holding the book is kinda impossible unless the book and his glove is magnetic. Your shading is not bad but you can do better.
