- I have issues with the hair, but otherwise it's nice. Good job using a base, free hand is so hard I know, I've failed many times.

u made wonderful use of the base very clean and if u didnt tell me u used a base i wouldnt b able to tell ^^
just keep in mind the hair is big in anime and manga and it sits on the head so its not flat you show alot of potenial as an edit artist keep it up and just practice practice practice (o ^-')b - Report As Spam

highlights in her hair, they're completely wrong. Highlights would be throughout the hair, not in one swift motion around her head. And if there are highlights, there must me shadows, which her hair has none of. It looks like one solid color with a few short-choppy lines mixed unevenly in. It looks almost like a.. tacky wig? For lack of a better term.
I hope this helped you. Sorry if I sounded rude for having so many 'complaints', but there was very many things wrong with this piece.

- and her face. And for her hair, well... It looks very stiff, and choppy. Especially where her hair goes behind her back. The choppy-ness gives it that 'dog-hair-like' look to it. If you were going for layers, layers are never found on the inside of someone's hair. They are always out the outside. Also, right above her left ear (our right), she has no hair that hangs over. Look in the mirror, you'll see what I mean. She almost looks like that portion of her head is shaved. And as for the

- Not including the various things wrong with the original that you edited. You need a LOT of work. It doesn't seem like you even know where the light source is coming from. Shadows are scattered randomly, and they are very contradicting to each other. For example, I don't see why the strings of her tank-top (if that's what it's supposed to be) Cast shadows on both sides of them. The shadow would only appear ONLY on the opposite side of where the light is coming from, same with her shoulders,
