- Title: Invidia
- Artist: summer1412
- Description: An image I did in my "Beautiful Sin" series. Invidia is the Latin word for "Envy", and is the name of the Goddess of Envy, who would poison people with that sin. The symbolism of the snake comes from that Goddess, who lives in a cave and eats snakes. Very creepy. I like it. *giggle*

Feh, retarded muffins is aptly named.
This is beautifully done. I adore the softness of the hair, it looks very realistic and that's one of the most difficult aspects to master. The snake came out pretty amazing as well. (And yes, a bit creepy... In a great way. xD <3) - Report As Spam

Yeaaah...well some of the origins can be off-putting, to some things. It's interesting when you get the back story of things. Like the term "Green with envy", comes from Invidia's green skin and eyes. Of course, that was something I didn't totally elaborate on here. *snickers*
Aaaaand, to xretarded_muffinsx, I'm not new at this, I've been doing this for about five years. However, I never thought to post my work here until recently. =) - Report As Spam

- Thank you, hon! Just so you know, I made her eyes a little smaller on purpose. I wanted to give her more of a reptilian facial structure. Her eyes are wide-set and sort of small in comparison to the rest of her face. I'm glad you noticed though!! lol XD

the only thing thats bothering me is the woman's eyes....theyr a little too small and they might need some depth to them, no offense. but other than that this is fantastic :] - Report As Spam
