I completed this drawing at somewhere around 2:30 AM on January 11, 2009.
The tablet used is Paint Shop Pro 7. I worked for around seven hours on it, mostly on the shading. I modeled this after a drawingn that I entered into an arts festival, though this pose is much different than that.
I was going for a graphite look.
EDIT: I've slimmed down the outline, to make it look a little more like a drawing. I'm still debating color, and when I do color it, I'll submit it seperately. - Date: 01/11/2009

I would love to see this as a graphite and without the heavy outline. (It makes it look a little less realistic)
Regardless, amazing work. The detail of the scales and feathers as well as putting the two different parts together must've taken a lot of time and work to get it to look as well as it does. Good job! - Report As Spam
