I did this all with one base color for the body, one for the hooves and 2 for the mane and tale.. the rest.. dodge and burn. I kid you not
yes I used photo reference (thank god) I would have been so lost!

I really love how realistic it came out, I surprised my self.

- It's beautiful. What's bothering me are the hooves - they seem too cartoony in such a realistic drawing. Other than that, it's gorgeous.
