1. I absolutely HATE Maiko but I wont judge it because of that
2. I agree with Faerygirl-14 the best way IS to at least get a sense of the style before you try immitating it. All shows and manga have different styles and you do need to be familiar with the kind you are drawing so it doesn't look completly out of place. - Report As Spam

- it's a great picture, I agree, but I recommend not using other peoples' art at all. I think people need to draw their own art instead of imitating another's.

- It's a great picture, but I would recommend that you try to imitate the style as best as you can. What I do, normally, is have a copy of a person's picture in front of me, roughly trace about how much space everything takes, then modify the details to whatever I feel like. And anyways, I support zutara. xp 4/5
